I am incredibly blessed and immensely grateful.
My husband, Jim, and our children, Jimmy & Jordyn, are my favorite people in the world! Any time we are together is a good time:) They have supported me unconditionally, always, and believed I could do anything - even when I wasn’t sure.
I love spending time with my people, getting lost in a good book, diving into cross-stitch, exploring bookstores, discovering new coffee shops, dreaming up travel adventures, hoarding URLs, and finding fun ways to learn new things!
My initial attempt at college didn’t go as planned. Over the course of 20 years, I attended five colleges and universities before finally earning my bachelor’s degree in English/Creative Writing from the University of Central Florida (UCF) in 2017.
In August of 2024, I completed my master’s in Instructional Design & Technology with a specialization in eLearning, also through UCF. When I first explored instructional design, I thought it might be something fun to do, but it has become clear this is the work I am meant to do. Combining my passion for learning with my drive to help others, this field has led me to an exciting and fulfilling career that inspires and motivates me every day.
I am thrilled to embark upon my doctoral journey this fall!
Trust me - you are never too old to learn & there is always something worth learning!
The past nine-plus years with the BCB Homes team have truly been transformative. Their unwavering support through every challenge and triumph has been humbling and motivating. I am immensely grateful for the countless opportunities they have provided and their steadfast belief in my potential.
BCB Homes has not only fueled my passion for education and helping others but has also inspired me to grow professionally and personally. I will always cherish my time as part of their phenomenal team.
As I look ahead, I am excited to see where this career will take me and what I will accomplish. To quote Simon Sinek, "Working hard for something we don't care about is called stress; working hard for something we love is called passion." I am grateful to have a career that I am passionate about - one that makes it hard to leave behind at the end of the day:)
My time with PCL's Design & Development team was an experience that I will forever treasure. From day one, they embraced me as one of their own, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
The team's encouragement to contribute wherever I could was empowering and inspiring. I am grateful for the opportunities to learn and grow, and for their belief in my abilities.
In addition to gaining valuable skills and insights from this incredible team, I also built relationships and forged connections that I hope will last a lifetime.
